I got a row tonight from my brother in law because I hadn't updated my blog for rather too long. I got a row from someone else at the end of last week for writing a post which said that I didn't have time to write anything on the blog. I am still keeping the photos on flickr up to date, which is always something. The feed on twitter which feeds into Facebook also gets updated a bit more regularly than the blog. The danger is that you start something like this and then find it a bit of a struggle to sustain it!
The last few weeks have been very busy. You will notice that the "acting" bit of my job title has now changed. The post was finally advertised and the interview was last Friday. So now I am an education manager with an equity card. It is a very odd sensation going back to a new job that you have bee doing for a year. The danger here is that I am wondering what will be different this Monday morning.
I liked this sign as it exemplifies a wonderful lack of use of punctuation. I suppose it depends on how you look at it but at a time when there is anther drive on literacy in our schools with a view to new qualifications in literacy and numeracy then it makes you think. It's not just the kids who can't punctuate. Don't even think about getting me started on the use of the apostrophe!
Perhaps I won't get a row from my brother in law as I haven't written anything! The new challenge is to make sure that it is not another month before there is another post.
